The 2/23 meeting of the Board of Selectmen will be held in person in the community room at the firehouse. This decision has been made in accordance with the overall relaxation of covid-related restrictions. However, the pandemic continues, and unvaccinated people, along with people with vulnerabilities such as underlying health conditions that could be exacerbated by covid, compromised immune system functioning, and unvaccinated household members should continue to take precautions.
The agenda will include a presentation by Santa Energy of Bridgeport, which has proposed to lease town property for a solar generation array. The proposal includes an annual lease payment to the town, and a fixed preferred rate on electricity for the duration of the lease. This part of the meeting will be a public information session, so questions and comments will be welcome.
