The 4/28 Board of Selectmen meeting will be an in-person meeting, at the Community Hall in the Public Safety Complex. Social distancing and masks will be required of attendees. The state DPH guidelines currently in effect allow for 50% capacity in indoor areas, which means that up to 90 people can attend the meeting.
The meeting will also be made available remotely. The link is on the agenda. We are making every effort to allow for full remote audience participation, but the technology has not yet been fully tested, so it is still possible that people joining via the Internet will not be able to participate fully. But we're doing everything we can to make sure that does not happen.
This meeting will be a dry run for the budget hearing on May 6 and the Town Meeting on May 20. Both are currently planned as hybrid meetings, and we are optimistic that by the time of the hearing, we will have the technology to allow for full participation. We appreciate your patience as we develop this capacity.
For remote attendees, the Town Meeting will require registration prior to the meeting and a ID check to verify eligibility to vote. Notifications about these processes will be posted here after the budget hearing. So please stay tuned.
