Municipal elections for boards and commissions will be held in November, but the ballots must be finalized this month. Next week, the Republican and Democratic Town Committees will meet to nominate a slate of candidates for upcoming vacancies on the Boards of Education and Selectmen, the Planning and Zoning Commission, and other offices. Both parties are in need of candidates, and I'd like to remind everyone that without people to sit on these boards and commissions, the town cannot function.
