Tax Collector's Notice

 

The January installment of all taxes on the Scotland Grand List of October 1, 2021, and Motor Vehicle Supplemental list will be due and payable January 1, 2023. If these taxes are not paid in full or post marked by February 1, 2023, interest will be charged at a rate of 1.5 percent per month from the DUE DATE with the minimum being $2.00. Interest will accrue as of February 2, 2023.

Failure to receive a tax bill will not invalidate the tax or interest. Please call our office if you have any questions or do not receive a bill, 860-465-3029.

Mail payments to: Town of Scotland, PO Box 202, Willimantic CT  06226. It must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2023.
